About

Life in Jesus's day, one doodle at a time

Most kids have heard about the five loaves and two fish. Far fewer know that barley was the cheap bread, that the loaves were small and flat, or that a boy sharing his lunch was sharing most of his day's food. Small, true details like these make a Bible story land.

Good News Doodles makes short doodle videos that drop you into an ordinary day in first-century Galilee. Then we turn each video into things a teacher can use on Sunday: an object lesson, discussion questions and a coloring page.

We make it for volunteer Sunday school teachers, kids' ministry leaders, homeschool families and parents. Basically, anyone with ten minutes to fill and a room full of kids.

Researched, not guessed

Our videos and articles start from archaeology and ancient sources. When scholars disagree, we say so.

Respectful, always

Jesus is shown with dignity. The jokes are about a villager who hates getting up early, never about faith.

Free first

Lessons, videos and coloring pages are free. Paid packs exist for teachers who want a whole month planned.
